Week Ten, Term One

We have been working hard on our balancing skills in Renwick 3 this term. We have also been working hard on recognising number patterns in maths. We put the two together and came up with a fun game.
We rolled the big dice and whatever number it landed on we had to put that many body parts on the ground. Tricky stuff you might be thinking ...but not for the champions of Renwick 3!!

At the end of the term we said goodbye to Luca who has returned to Tonga with his family. We will miss Luca such a lot as he was a very warm and cheerful member of our class.

Thank you to all the parents who came for our 'virtual' picnic at the Botanical Gardens. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to us next time. The children enjoyed their television picnic all the same!

First week...

The majority of the class have nearly completed the Jolly Phonic sounds program. We will assess what we know and work on filling the gaps over the next few weeks.
Our tricky words will be mother/father.
During maths time we will continue with number as well as topic maths which is length, weight and capacity.
This Friday is our school cross country event. Please keep your eye out for the notice coming home with details. It is important on the day that your child is wearing appropriate shoes for running. The school day will end as usual at 3pm.

Hope you are all having a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to your return on Monday 2nd of May!

  1. Thanks for all your hard work Ren 3! We love hearing about all the exciting things you get up to at school. Vic and Ian (Hannah's mum and dad).
